INDOFAB Pan Filters are Simple Rugged Construction Metal Designs very economical for Washing & Dewatering Circuits of a wide variety of Granular & Fibrous materials. INDOFAB Pan Filters are rotating in Horizondal plant around vertical axis and hence enables thicker filter cake handling upto 2" in specific cases. The Sectional Construction of Metal Pan is designed for Higher Drainage & is coupled through a streamlined Hy-Flow Valve for maximum de-watering, Washing & Drying Cycles within one rotation. The rotating PAN is mounted on a Hardened Ball race or Slewing Ring. At the end of each rotation the Pan Cake is contiously Discharged throug a High Speed Cake Discharge Scroll Arrangment to the Discharge chute. Due to its Horizontal Pan Surface Vacuum & Gravity both facilitate high drainage, lower cake moisture, easy displacement or counter current washing.
Contructionally The Rotating Pan is introduced with Feed through an incoming feeder pipe through a feed distributor. An air blow located under the feed point, re-slurries the cake heel with incoming feed to produce clean filter media & homogenous feed.
Vacuum is applied immeidiately after feed/Airblow and remains throughout the rotation cycle till the cake is discharged throught at the scroll. The filtrate is drawn through the filter media down the sloped section and through the large outlet valve. The critical separation of filtrate liquor is maintained by movable bridges in the filter valve.
Filter cake is washed with variuos wash headers provided at different stages as desired by the application. At the end of the cycle when moisture content is to its minimum the cake is discharged by means of a scroll discharge arrangment to the discharge trough.
